     Imperial fx Photography is a unique brand that aims to produce images that live up to it’s name. To define Imperial would be to describe something of superior or unusual excellence, something sovereign or of the most exalted kind. Digital effects (commonly shortened to digital FX or FX) covers the various processes by which imagery is created or manipulated with or from photographic assets.  It often involves the integration of still photography and computer-generated imagery (CGI) to create environments which look realistic but would be dangerous, costly, or impossible to capture in camera.

     Photographer Victor Boyd II is an American photographer who launched his company Imperial fx Photography in Detroit, MI 2017. He later relocated to the state of California where he pursued a degree in Digital Photography at the Art Institute of California - San Francisco. Boyd has serviced local communities in both northern and southern California including San Francisco, Hollister, San Juan Bautista, Hollywood, Los Angeles and Burbank. With a talent for portrait and fashion photography, he continues to travel the country seeking talent in urban cities and metropolitan areas including his home town of Detroit, MI.

     Victor Boyd II has become quite skilled at curating his photo shoots to be appealing and meaningful to his potential viewers. Now in his second year as a business owner, he strives to seek clients that will compliment his personal style and in return do the same.

     Drawing upon his 6+ years of experience, Boyd's presence in the modeling and photography industry has resulted in an array of exciting projects. His current work focuses on his interaction with his subject. He works to produce images that tell a story, showcases the aesthetics of human features and carries an air of grandeur. His photos show the natural expressions of his subjects coupled with artistic invention in relation to wardrobe, background, pose and overall content.

Mr. Boyd currently holds residence in his hometown Detroit, MI and works in and out of the studio both domestically and abroad.
